grey wave

the grey skies of England cover me in a heavy blanket of grief
the green, so desperate to be noticed, of fields and his eyes
they are life, movement and possibility
couples scattered across the field in Hyde Park
I relate now more to the sky
a grey wave of shadowing loss
my heart is like the weather, ever changing, ever passing through
but alas, this gloomy cloud has no end is sight
yearning to be amongst those couples in the grass
paying no mind to the clouds
